“It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you.
Sorry to keep you waiting.
What brings you here today?”

As Jerome greeted him politely in response to a polite greeting, the young man bowed deeply and handed out an invitation with a red seal to Jerome.

“The Countess of Cashford has sent an invitation to Miss Helena.
She said she was planning to have a grand tea party soon, and she wanted the lady to attend.”

Hearing that, Jerome was excited.
His voice softened even more.

“Thank you for telling me.
I’ll pass it on as it is.”

“I would appreciate it if you let me know if the lady will attend by the day after tomorrow at the latest.”

“All right.”

When the servant of the Countess Cashford, who once again greeted him politely, went away, Jerome went straight to Helena.

In Raynor Stud’s workshop on the second floor of the mansion, she was concentrating on making Duke Bronant’s clothes.

“Miss.”

“Oh, Jerome.
Come in.
How’re the clothes I made?”

As soon as Helena saw Jerome, she was delighted and showed off the upper garment she had been making until then.
Jerome looked at the clothes carefully and marvelled.

“It’s really great.
Every time I look at this, I think that Miss’ workmanship is really amazing.”

“Thanks to everyone’s hard work, things are going more smoothly than I thought.
Although it was slow at the start, I think we can advance the garment by a day or two.”

“That’s great news.”

Jerome answered calmly.

“Duke Bronant’s job can only be trusted to you.
But would you mind looking at this for a moment? I have something to offer you.”

“What is it?”

Helena groaned as she opened the large box Jerome was offering.

“Is this made from my hair? Oh my gosh, it’s so cool.”

“Do you like it?”

“Of course.”

She smiled brightly and quickly took a seat.

“Jerome, I’m too excited to go to my room and try this out.
Help me.
Do you think I wore it right? I haven’t fixed it, but I want to see what I look like.”

“I’ll help.” Jerome smiled and answered Helena.

With her wig tight, she turned back.
Jerome carefully prepared the wig for Helena.

“It’s done.
I’ll bring you a mirror.”

“No, I’ll go see it myself.”

With Jerome’s help, Helena, wearing the wig made of her own hair, quickly ran to the large mirror in the corner of the room.

A noise erupted from her mouth once more.

“Looks like it’s alright? It’s really like my natural hair.
It really looks like it, doesn’t it, Jerome?”

“Yes, it does.
It’s very well suited.”

Jerome looked at Helena and nodded.
The length of the wig was shortened by about a span of a span from Helena’s previous length, which was about from the head to the palm of her hand, but it was originally made from her hair, so the wig was a very natural fit for Helena.

“It’s amazing.
Betsy’s workmanship is really great.”

Helena went round and round in front of the mirror.
Seeing Helena happy, Jerome felt relieved.
