From Sidekick to Bigshot

On Sunday, Qin Chuan arrived at the Old Jian Residence.

The housekeeper didn’t bring him directly to Jian Yiling.
Instead, the housekeeper brought him to see Grandma Jian.

Grandma Jian requested to not have a tight tuition schedule today and asked him to give Jian Yiling more leisure time.

Grandma Jian wanted her darling to be happy and healthy.

She didn’t see the point in getting her only granddaughter to study hard all day long.

Jian Yuncheng found someone to tutor Jian Yiling because he didn’t want his sister to be too wild.
He wanted her to put her mind on the right things.

And thus, as long as Jian Yiling didn’t cause trouble, there was no need to study hard every single day.
Studying excessively was not a good thing.

Qin Chuan didn’t decline Grandma Jian’s request.
When he received the task of tutoring, Jian Yuncheng had told him that there was no need for Jian Yiling to improve in academics.
It was important for her to not be exhausted.
