I Have Decided to Go Look for My Father

Gu Xi had been walking next to Gu Shao.
However, when she saw others walking toward Gu Shao, she had reflexively gone to hide behind Gu Shao.

Not because she was shy or anything.

But, at that very moment in time, she suddenly worried whether her being there would negatively impact Gu Shao or made him feel awkward in front of the others.
As such, she hid reflexively.

Nor had them ever seen Professor Gu bringing kids of friends and families to the campus before.

Upon hearing that, both teachers looked surprised, “Your daughter?!”

The two looked back and forth between Gu Shao and Gu Xi ­­–– they had never heard that Professor Gu had a daughter!

In fact, they never even heard that he was married.
How did he have a child her age?

Regardless, judging from their looks, they were certainly father and daughter.

“Ah, we’ve missed your wedding banquet.
We didn’t know that your daughter is this big already,” said the two teachers while hiding their surprised look.

As these two teachers were only acquaintances at school and not someone close, Gu Shao did not bother to elaborate.

Noticing that Gu Xi had her head lowered, he didn’t make her greet them either.
