A man, in a light-grey silk sleepwear, prodded the door open.
His dark fragmented hair, half-wet, stuck to his forehead.
The tip of his hair curled up a little.
Even their curvature suggested a hint of post-shower sexiness.

His thick eyelashes curled up languidly and, without hidden behind the spectacles, there was profound darkness hidden inside his dark-brown eyes.

The smile on Gu Nian froze.

Luo Xiu, who had been propping the door open, finally recollected himself.
This was, indeed, the first time he had celebrated his birthday.
It had never happened before.

She looked at the woman behind him and then at the sleepwear that he had on and the black hair that had obviously been just washed.

She was still stupefied.

After making eye contact with the girl for 0.1 second, Luo Xiu knew right away that she had misunderstood.

He paused and frowned, something he rarely did.

Gu Nian had finally recollected herself.

Luo Xiu’s frown deepened more.

Also, for the very first time, he was experiencing a sense of irritation and, mixed inside of that, there seemed to also be a sense of self-blame and panic that he had never experienced before.

With his very limited experience with regards to situations like this, the most likely reaction from a girl right now was to throw out a “I don’t want to hear it” before she turned and ran away.
