“I’ve never been to a school festival before!”

“It’s like a parade!”

　On the stage, the Angel Girls started their free talk.

　Megumi, Chi-chi and Miya-miya were sharing their impressions of the festival.

　A TV cameraman was filming them from the side of the stage.

　On the TV camera, the logo of the Angel Girls’ flagship program, “Too Much Angel, Sorry!” the show’s logo was affixed to the camera, indicating that it was being filmed for that show.

” So, how is everyone? Are you enjoying the school festival?”

　The audience shouted in response to Akarin’s exhortation.

　The crowd was already in a state of panic, but as it was a high school festival, no one was acting strangely and there was no atmosphere of trouble.

　Everyone seemed to be genuinely excited to see the Angel Girls live and in front of them.

“I’m sorry for coming so suddenly! We’re here on a project for a TV show called ‘Too many Angels, sorry! Do you know us?”

　The audience responded to Akarin’s question the audience shouted, “I know!”

　Akarin nodded her head in satisfaction.

“Thank you everyone! So, today I received a letter from Yamauchi-san, a member of the festival committee, asking me to come and play with you, so I came as a surprise!”

　When Akarin explained this, the audience cheered again.

　And with those words, Yamauchi-san and the rest of the festival committee came out from the side of the stage, looking embarrassed.

　Then the Angel Girls and Yamauchi-san and the others talked, and the audience laughed at the frightened Angel Girls, just as they do on TV.

　Akarin said that the reason she was here today was because she used a secret method, but I wondered what she meant by Yamauchi-san sending a letter to her.

　The surprise was a great success, and after the free talk was over, they decided to sing one more song, and the audience broke into applause.

　That other song was, of course, the Angel Girls’ signature song “start”.

　It’s one of the most famous songs of the Angel Girls, so the moment the intro started playing, the excitement of the audience reached a climax.

　This song is one of my favorites, so I was happy to hear it live again, and I was a bit moved.

　On the stage, the Angel Girls sang and danced energetically, really shining and giving us their best performance.

　Today’s festival is coming to an end, but looking back, it was a really good festival, including the preparations, and I felt something in my tear glands.

　The song “start” was a cheering song for those who were working hard, and the lyrics seemed to be directed at us who had successfully completed the festival, and not only me, but everyone here was listening to the Angel Girls’ singing.

　As soon as the Angel Girls finished their song, the audience erupted in applause.

　It was not only for the Angel Girls, but also for us.

　We heard people saying, “Thank you!” from everywhere, as if they were praising each other for a job well done.

　As an indescribable sense of unity was created in the gymnasium, Akarin on stage smiled and opened her mouth.

“I’d like to thank you for inviting me to such a wonderful cultural festival today! Bye!”

　With that, the Angel Girls on stage waved their hands and went backstage.

　–It was supposed to be.

　As I stared blankly at the stage where the Angel Girls had left off, thinking that this was the end of the festival, Akarin and the other Angel Girls came back again.

　Akarin, holding a microphone, smiled and opened her mouth over the microphone again.

“And! That’s it for “Too many angels, excuse me! ! So, come on, Shiorin!”

　The TV recording had just ended, and Akarin came back to talk to Shi-chan, who was standing next to me, as if she was going to start all over again.

　The scene was like a déjà vu of DDG’s live performance.

　While I was surprised by the sudden return of the Angel Girls, everyone reacted to the word “Shioriin” and turned their attention to her at once.

“I knew it would be like this”

　Shi-chan smiled as if she had given up.

　I guess Akarin is inviting Shi-chan to sing with her again on stage.

　But it seemed that there was no way for Shi-chan to escape from this, so I called out to her with concern.

“What are you going to do? Are you okay?”

“Yes, thank you.
But I have something I need to tell you, so I’m going to go! You know, I might say some things I don’t want to say, but I want you to stay here and listen.”

　I wondered what it was that I needed to hear, but since everyone was paying attention to us, I just nodded my head and said, “Okay.”

　When Shi-chan heard my reply, she smiled and said, “Well, I’m off.”

　The whole gymnasium was abuzz at the sight of her.

　As if they were expecting Shiorin’s return, the voltage of the venue reached its highest point.

　It was not unreasonable, since the full Angel Girls were about to make a comeback.

　But from the way Shi-chan was acting earlier, I wondered if it was possible… Such a thought crossed my mind.

　If I’m right, what am I supposed to do now?

　I tried to think about it, but in the end I couldn’t come up with an answer.

　So, even though I was curious about what Shi-chan was going to say, I decided to just do as I was told and watch the Angel Girls on stage.
