Ch23.1 – Hello Uncle (23) — Bye-Bye

Su An became more and more dependent on He Xiran, to the point of being clingy.
After such a day of grinding, He Xiran gradually began to soften.

He even allowed Su An to go out of the villa and take a walk around.
But Su An held back.
He held He Xiran and didn’t let go.
Whenever He Xiran wanted to tear him off, Su An would show a weeping expression, pitiful, like an abandoned lamb.

When his symptoms became more and more serious, He Xiran held him to check the information on the computer, and the words “Stockholm” appeared on the computer.

Su An glanced at him casually, and lowered his head again.
He leaned in dependence in He Xiran’s arms, and with a flushed face, he played with He Xiran’s fingers, completely dependent on him in both body and mind.

“Su An,” He Xiran called out, and met Su An’s sweet smile, “Uncle!”

He Xiran was silent for a while, then turned off the computer and went to bed with Su An.

When in bed, Su An became more shy.
He often became overwhelmed and trembled all over because of He Xiran’s gaze, but he still tried to open himself up to He Xiran.

Such obedience and dependence satisfied He Xiran’s desire for control.
Soon after, He Xiran took him to the studio.

All the employees in the studio still remember Su An, but the little student, who were obviously forced by their boss last time, are clinging to the boss this time.
Even with the sight of others, he still uneasily circled himself in He Xiran’s eyes.

The staffs looked at each other in dismay.
When the assistant sent the documents to He Xiran, he saw that the little student looked more wrong clearly.

The assistant glanced at Su An several times, and He Xiran noticed it.
He retracted his hand and put it on Su An’s back to protect him, and looked at the assistant coldly, “Is something wrong?”

“Oh, oh, oh,” The assistant hurriedly put down the documents, but he still couldn’t help looking at Su An.
Su An noticed his gaze, and shrank and hugged He Xiran, sobbing, “Uncle.”

This is obviously not normal.

The assistant couldn’t help but said, “Boss, this little student is in a wrong state, do you want to hire a Psychologist?”

He Xiran frowned in displeasure, and his suppressed aura hit the assistant.
The assistant was trembling and said under pressure, “Boss, just take a look? Psychological problems are very important.”

He Xiran was about to refuse, when he suddenly remembered something, he stopped and asked the person in his arms, “Su An, do you want to see a Psychologist?”

Su An choked up and couldn’t say anything, his back trembled, and he clung tightly to He Xiran’s neck, as if he hadn’t heard him.

He Xiran changed his mind, “Go and get a doctor.”

This is the lounge, but Su An is sure that He Xiran, this pervert, must be hiding behind a surveillance camera and watching there.

His desire to perform is growing.

The Psychologist quietly observed his actions and already had an idea, “Who is An-An looking for?”

When he found no one, Su An’s uneasiness and nervousness were beyond words.
He ignored the doctor and lay back silently, covering his head with a quilt.

The Psychologist even asked several questions, but they were all ignored by Su An.
There was no way to ask these questions, so the doctor had to go out first.

In front of the monitoring screen.

He Xiran was sitting on the black boss chair with his arms folded to support his chin.
He saw the bulging quilt hiding on the bed on the screen, with his bangs covering his eyebrows.

The assistant sighed while watching, feeling distressed, “Why is this happening all of a sudden, what’s going on?” He glanced at the boss secretly, suspecting that the boss forced the person into this.

He Xiran stood up, his eyes were cold, and he warned: “Don’t talk about this in the future.”

He Xiyan reentered the lounge with the doctor, then lifted the quilt on Su An.
Su An’s eyes were red, and they were full of panic.
After seeing He Xiran, he pounced on him with a whimper.

He Xiran hugged him, and had the door closed.
He touched the back of Su An’s head, “Su An, you need to answer the doctor’s words.”

“Good.” Su An responded obediently, trembling.

The Psychologist looked at the way they interact, and felt bad about it.
As soon as Cheng Su’an stayed in He Xiran’s arms, he calmed down, he also looked up and smiled at He Xiran.
He has no social experience and his smile still has a pure taste in it.
A boy who should be sunny and healthy should not have psychological problems at such a young age.

The doctor asked a few questions and went out with He Xiran.
After listening to the doctor’s diagnosis and treatment results, He Xiran calmly smoked a cigarette, “I see.”

His flat response made the doctor doubt his ears, and he reminded again, “Mr.
He, don’t you understand what I mean? I mean that your child’s situation is very serious and needs to start psychological treatment immediately.”

He Xiran nodded calmly and shook the ashes, “Okay, I get it, you can go back.”

The doctor was taken away by the assistant with a stomach full of words.
He Xiran finished smoking half a cigarette and threw the remaining half into the trash can.
He went into the room and carried Su An into the office.
While working, he stroked the back of Su An’s neck and suddenly laughed softly.

Su An scratched his back suspiciously and asked softly, “Uncle, what are you laughing at?”

He Xiran: “Baby, kiss your uncle.”

He suddenly said so, making Su An’s expression almost cracked.
He barely stabilized, when he stood up and held He Xiran’s face, and gave a precious kiss on it.

Lip to lip, very simple.

He Xiran also lowered his eyes slightly.
He looked at Su An’s fair nose bridge and pink lips, and closed his eyes with a smile.

That night, He Xiran took Su An to Cheng Suqing’s house.

This home was bought by Cheng Suqing with her own savings.
When the two of them arrived, Special Assistant Chu was washing his hands and cooking in the kitchen, while Cheng Suqing was preparing fruits in the living room.

The atmosphere between the two was weird.
Cheng Suqing laughed when she saw someone coming, “Mr.
He, you’re here? Su An, why are you hiding behind Mr.
He?”

She reached out to drag Su An, but Su An lowered his head, and ducked back, avoiding her hand.

Cheng Suqing was stunned.

Special Assistant Chu, who just came out of the kitchen, also saw this scene.
He and Cheng Suqing looked at each other and called again, “Su An?”

Cheng Su’an acted conscientiously as a poor autistic person as if he hadn’t heard their words.

He has completely changed into what he is now after being sealed off by He Xiran for a month.
He is completely dependent on He Xiran from his mind to his body, and he feels uneasy even in the face of his sister.

Only He Xiran, only he can bring a sense of security.

“Su An?” Cheng Suqing stretched out her hand again hesitantly, “What’s the matter? I’m your sister, why are you hiding from me.” Su An felt that it was time to expose He Xiran’s true face.

He abruptly pulled He Xiyan’s hand around his waist, and his whole person leaned over before letting out a sigh of relief, and his pale face finally had blood on it.
Then he showed a soft, cute smile towards Cheng Suqing, whispering, “Sister.”

Cheng Suqing had a bad guess in her heart, the corner of her mouth gradually stiffened, and Special Assistant Chu walked to her side, his sharp gaze directed at He Xiran.

He Xiran hugged Su An without any difference, “Su An, say hello.”

Cheng Su’an said obediently, “Hello, sister.”

The faces of the two adults were even more ugly.
Cheng Suqing couldn’t help it, and her tone was very aggressive: “Su An, come here! What’s the matter with you letting Mr.
He holds you!”

She sharply rushed towards He Xiran, “Mr.
He, my brother has been living with you, and you told me he was good, that’s how good he is?”

Special Assistant Chu waited for her to finish speaking before pulling her, “Ah Qing.”

From the corner of his eyes, he kept circling around Cheng Su’an.
Special Assistance Chu couldn’t help but looked at Cheng Su’an.
It is very strange for a child, who was originally lively and well-behaved, to become like this.
Then he glanced at He Xiran calmly, “The meal is ready, let’s eat first.
Isn’t Su An hungry too?”

Cheng Suqing reluctantly put away her anger.
She turned around and walked to the dining table.
The atmosphere in the guest dining room was depressing, with only the sound of the TV news broadcasting.

Then the news suddenly inserted a message, “Recently our agency received a news related to Shen’s Group Shen Zhangxiu’s murdered ex-wife…The police have verified the truth and have successfully arrested Shen Zhangxiu…Our agency will continue to report.”

Everyone at the table looked at the TV.

Su An suddenly realized that it was already time for the email he timed to be sent out.
He handed over the recording to Special Assistant Chu, and it is estimated that Special Assistant Chu submitted the evidence in his hand together with it, that’s why it was handled so quickly.

In the news, Shen Zhangxiu was pressed into the police car under the watching crowd.
This scene overlapped with the previous scene where Special Assistant Chu was taken away but the shock was even greater.

The crowd was densely packed, including employees of Shen’s Group, passers-by around, and news media swarming up.

Some people were dazed, while others were gloating.
However, Shen Zhangxiu was still calm under the onlookers of these people, and even when a camera shot up, he still smiled gracefully at the camera.

A cold snort came from the side, and Cheng Suqing said, “You deserve it.”

Special Assistant Chu was relatively calm, but he also showed a relaxed smile, “Ah Qing is right.”

He handed Cheng Suqing a pair of chopsticks, but Cheng Suqing ignored it with a cold face, and took another pair for herself.

Special Assistant Chu’s face was bitter.

Su An lowered his head again, he tugged at He Xiran’s sleeve, “Uncle, I want to go home with you.”

The other two turned their heads to look at him.
Cheng Suqing suddenly reached out toward Su An, Su An dodged late, and his clothes were dragged under his collarbones, revealing dense hickeys.

The sky was falling apart, and Cheng Suqing stood up abruptly, in disbelief, “Su An?”

Sunnyshies: Should I say trivia…well, not really.
Just stating my opinion.
Well, Stockholm syndrome is an emotional response when the victim gains positive feelings for their captor.
I’ve read many novels/mangas about it, but I haven’t seen a real case yet–and didn’t dare to search for one.
Because it’s tragic if it happened in reality.
I always think that Stockholm syndrome is just the same as behavior conditioning.
I’ve read a manga once, it’s one shot called “I am your Pavlov Dog”– Ivan Pavlov is a well known Psychologist, especially for his Classical conditioning.
Anyway, this one shot was really spot on.
It’s just that Pavlov’s experiments were used in other ways.
Anyway, Stockholm syndrome, in any case, is the same as learned helplessness.
Learned Helplessness is similar to trauma– lets still get that poor dog as an example.
Because the dog thought that he would be electrocuted if he tried to get out of the cage, even with the cage door opened for him, the dog would not respond to it.
It’s the same with Stockholm syndrome– but the difference is, Stockholm syndrome both has negative and positive reinforcement.
Negative reinforcement involves punishment and positive reinforcement are rewards.
If a victim tries to escape his captor, he will be punished–but if the victim tries to stay honestly, then there comes the reward.
If this happens, then behavioral conditioning occurs.
The victim goes “he is so nice, as long as I don’t escape then, everything is happy!”

And so, Cheng Su’an, not Su An (I bet Su An was giggling under the blanket), psychological  thinking here is just right.
After being captured twice and punished, He Xiran’s “you won’t be able to escape” already carved into his brain, so instead of reaching out to get help from outsiders, he instead felt scared.
After all, he thought, if any of these people rescue me, and be captured again, he will only be punished.
Wahahaha.

OMG, why am I doing this…so that’s it! It’s just my opinion okay.
Hahaha.
And oh, did I mention that Stockholm syndrome will be followed by other underlying mental illnesses, such as Depression, anxiety and such.
Mental Health Awareness~ “To Take An Enemy’s Heart” webtoon is really good.

Ch23.2 – Hello Uncle (23) — Bye-Bye

Sunnyshies: Trigger Warning! Suicide. This is half part of ch.
23! The end of Arc 1– you guys knows what it means! It means Death! So, well just in case, Trigger Warning!!!

The sky was falling apart, and Cheng Suqing stood up abruptly in disbelief, “Su An?”

He Xiran pulled back Su An’s clothes, his eyes were a little cold.
He took Su An in his arms and strode away.

He placed Su An gently in the passenger seat.
Meanwhile, Cheng Suqing and Special Assistant Chu chased after them.
He Xiran was about to close the car door to meet the two people, but his sleeve was tugged by Su An.

Su An sobbed: “Uncle, did I do something wrong?”

He Xiran spoke in a low voice: “No.”

But the tears on Su An’s face still dripped on his hands, burning directly into his heart like kerosene.

He Xiran actually felt that his breathing was a little slow.

“Uncle,” Su An pulled him silently in the dark, half of his face looming under the street light, “Uncle, I don’t want to leave you.”

He Xiran clearly knew that something was wrong with him now.

The heart in his chest was beating uncontrollably, his blood was hot, and the strong and powerful vibration sounded like it was in his ears.

He Xiran paused for a long time before saying: “En.”

The little thing that touched his heart and soul helped him up from the seat, then clinging to his neck.
The fragrance rushed in with heat, and he coquettishly said with a nasal voice: “Uncle, do you love me?”

He Xiran clenched his hands tightly.
Su An raised his head and looked at him with love in his moist eyes, and said shyly, “Uncle.”

The footsteps behind them were getting closer, so Su An did not wait for an answer and his eyes were full of grievances.

He Xiran opened his mouth and said hoarsely, “I love you.”

Su An’s eyes slowly lit up, and he smiled brilliantly at He Xiran.

He Xiran felt as if his heart was filled with honey, but also seemed to be filled with bitterness

Su An looked at his back and smiled contentedly.

Half an hour later, He Xiran came back.
Su An threw himself on him worriedly, and touched him up and down, “Uncle, are you all right?”

He Xiran smiled, he grabbed his hand and put it on his lips to peck and kiss, “It’s okay.”

As the car passed through the dark night, Su An remembered the news report just now.
He felt that he was about to be taken away from the world by Shen Zhangxiu.

Su An pestered He Xiran and said, “Uncle, shall we go to Hightower Park?”

He Xiran took Su An to buy water, and Su An took it, “Thank you, uncle.”

They finally went up the observation tower together and came to the top floor.

Su An looked down, and withdrew into He Xiran’s arms with some fear, “Uncle, it’s so high here.”

“En.” He Xiran’s hair was blown by the wind as he hugged Su An, “Don’t be afraid.”

Su An giggled, “Uncle, I’m not afraid.
Will you kiss me, uncle?”

He Xiran leaned over and kissed him.
With a lingering kiss, Su An felt He Xiran’s tenderness and cherishment for him from their intertwined lips and tongue.
His upper jaw was licked, and he whimpered with pleasure.

The kiss ended, but He Xiran felt that it wasn’t enough and lowered his body again.
Su An covered his mouth with a blushing face, “The skin is broken, uncomfortable.”

Su An’s eyes widened when he felt his palm itchy.
He Xiran licked his palm expressionlessly.

The child’s face turned red completely, “You…”

He Xiran’s voice was hoarse, and slipped in from his clothes, “I’ll take you abroad in a few days.”

Su An blinked, “Going abroad?”

He Xiran hummed and took his earlobe again.

Su An took two breaths and said softly: “But uncle, I don’t want to go abroad with you.”

He Xiran stopped and frowned, “Why?”

“Uncle,” Su An didn’t answer the question, and said to himself, “You still owe me a request, and I want Uncle to answer me a question.”

He Xiran’s breathing sounded beside his ear, then he slowly straightened you, “You ask.”

“Shen Zhangxiu is so afraid of Uncle,” Su An asked, “Who is uncle?”

The cold man’s eyes changed slightly.

Su An looked at him seriously and said softly, “I really want to know, I really want to know who my uncle is.
My uncle is so mysterious.
I don’t know anything about my uncle except that he has a younger sister.”

“Is uncle a vampire? Is he an alien? Or something else?” Like a world-hopping monster?

He Xiran’s adam’s apple slowly moved.
He turned his face sideways, and the line from the bridge of his nose to his lips were straight and indifferent, “You think too much.”

Su An couldn’t help laughing, “Uncle really doesn’t want to tell me?”

He Xiran directly ordered: “Change the request.”

But to his surprise, the obedient child shook his head and stepped back to the side guardrail.

Su An could clearly feel some changes in his body.

He felt that his body was starting to get heavier, and the feeling of lifting his hands was becoming much more difficult than before.

He Xiran’s face changed and strode towards him.

“Don’t come here,” Su An sat astride the guardrail, the wind from the upper floors made his hair fly.
The night lights were colorful, and the red and green lights reflected on his fair and flawless face, “He Xiran, don’t come here.”

He Xiran stopped walking with an ugly face, and held Su An tightly in his eyes.

Su An was still wearing his suit jacket, and the iron railings were a little cold.
He slapped his butt, and Su An sniffed sadly, looking at He Xiran sadly.

This kind of gaze was like a knife, stabbing He Xiran’s breath unsteadily, his hands trembling faintly.

The man tried his best to stabilize, his voice was cold, “Su An, come down.”

“I don’t want to,” Su An choked, “I  like uncle so much, but uncle doesn’t like me at all.
You are lying to me.”

He Xiran’s heart was cut into two pieces, half was torn apart by this scene and Su An’s words, and the other half was forced to calm down, “Come down, I’ll tell you everything.”

Su An showed a miserable smile, “Uncle, do you really love me?”

The bitter taste came to He Xiran’s heart again, Su An stared at him earnestly, and his eyes seemed to be glowing.

He Xiran was silent for a long time, then sighed and conceded: “I love you.”

Su An whimpered and cried, “I don’t believe it.”

He Xiran: “…”

Su An was about to leave this world, and he was about to make waves, “You lied to me a lot, you said that you were not sick, and that He Feiyu was not sick.
When you held an exhibition, you didn’t have a human portrait, but you recruited human models in my school.
You obviously don’t draw people.”

He has lost a lot of weight this month, and his body was shaky due to the wind.
He Xiran was startled, “I was wrong, Su An, you come down first.”

Su An looked into the distance with a dazed expression.

His forehead and nose were flushed red by the cold wind, and he suddenly calmed down, “Uncle, in fact, I lied to you too.”

He Xiran was startled, his face sank, and he said, “Come down and talk about it.”

Su An’s eyelids became heavier and heavier, and he smiled at He Xiran.
His smile is as bright as dawn, “Uncle, actually I don’t like you at all.”

He lowered his eyes and his voice trembled, “You are so scary, I am so afraid of you, I hate you to death.”

In fact, it is not, Uncle He is still likeable.

Breathing heavily, He Xiran closed his eyes tightly and opened them again.
His heart was numb and calm, and he said hoarsely, “Get down.”

The hatred he had written down in his small notebook turned into a knife at this moment, plucking out He Xiran’s heart, and Su An carefully returned it, “I do not want to go down, because once down, you will shut me in the villa again.”

He Xiran’s pale face became more morbid.
He bit his flesh until it bleed, and said, “I won’t lock you up.”

“I don’t believe it,” Su An giggled, then let go of his hands and fell back, “He Xiran, I hope I will never meet you in the next life again.”

He closed his eyes peacefully.

With one last glance, he saw the man’s distorted face, rushing over with his hands stretched out.

His eyes were red, as if he was going crazy.

Bye-bye uncle.
